Dates: Wednesday October 25th & Thursday October 26th, 2017.
Location: Woodside Park, Kitchener (map) (you may need to scroll out to view this properly)
Admission Fees: No charge
Team Entry Fee: $330.00 (Cheques made payable to Sir John A. Macdonald S. S.) brought to the coaches meeting on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m.
This will cover the cost of field rental, officials, therapy, equipment, etc.
Parking: Parking is limited. The parking lot cannot handle 6 buses for student drop-offs. It is advised to drop your team off on a side street or right on Highland Road if possible.
First Aid: Protherapy will be on site for any first aid your athletes may need as far as treatment, however, teams are required to supply all supplies (i.e. tape, etc.). There will be a $3.00 charge per roll of tape if you must use Protherapy’s supplies.
St Mary’s Hospital is a quick drive away for more serious injuries. See map.
Clothing Sales: There will be some CWOSSA commemorative gear sold again this year.

Rules and Regs have been updated as of September 2015. Please review these before the tournament.
Coaches Meeting:Wednesday, October 25th at 8:15 a.m. at Woodside. The meeting will be short as you will have most of the information already on this website or emailed to you. Please bring all required documentation and cheques. If voting is required for rule changes, etc. it is mandatory that all teams are represented.

Note: It is very important that teams anticipating being either 1st or 2nd in a pool be available on-site at the end of pool play, in case penalty strokes are necessary in order to break ties in the pool.

Hello Association Convenors,
Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School is looking forward to hosting the 2017 Girls’ OFSAA Field Hockey Championships.
Please find below a list of basic information that should be passed along to the team(s) representing your association.
Teams are encouraged to check the championship website frequently leading up to the championship for the latest information.
A reminder to ensure the spelling is correct on the AELS forms since this is where information will be taken from for the program and team banners. All AELS eligibility sheets require your signature in hard copy for OFSAA registration.
NEW TO 2017: This year’s championship will have a maximum of 25 registered participants (an increase from last year’s maximum of 23 registered participants). Please communicate to the team that has qualified that 25 participants can register on AELS.

Bring all required forms and cheques to registration. Checklists can be found on the website in the “for coaches” section.

Cost is $30 per person attending.
7:30-8:30 p.m. on Wed., November 1st at the Holiday Inn, Burlington (host hotel for OFSAA 2017)
The Holiday Inn, Burlington is being used as the OFSAA field hockey host hotel. The hotel has requested that each individual team contact Janice DeSilva directly either by phone (905-639-4443, ext 4647) or email (email@example.com) to book rooms. Please see the website for additional hotel information.
The championship is being held at Frank J Hayden S.S., Norton Park (across the road from Hayden) and Nelson High School. Photos will be taken at Frank J. Hayden Secondary School on Thursday Nov. 2nd. Teams will be given a specific photography time once seeding is completed that is coordinated with the start of one of their games that day. The website will show the photography schedule.
