Admission Fees: No charge

Parking: Parking is limited. The parking lot cannot handle 6 buses for student drop-offs. It is advised to drop your team off on a side street or right on Highland Road if possible.

Clothing Sales: There will be some CWOSSA commemorative gear sold again this year.

A Note from the OFSAA Convenor…

Hello Association Convenors,

Nelson High School in Burlington is looking forward to hosting the 2018 OFSAA Field Hockey Championship.

Please find below a list of basic information that should be passed along to the team(s) representing your association.

Teams are encouraged to check the championship website frequently leading up to the championship for the latest information.

A reminder to ensure the spelling is correct on the AELS forms since this is where information will be taken from for the program. All AELS eligibility sheets require your signature in hard copy for OFSAA registration.

Entry Deadline: 11:59 p.m. Saturday, October 27

Registration: At the coaches’ meeting at the Holiday Inn from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Entry fee: $425 + $30/participant banquet fee + $3/athlete OFSAA fee Bring all required forms and cheques to registration. Checklists can be found on the website in the “for coaches” section.

Banquet (If Applicable): 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1 Cost $30 per person attending (includes players, coaches, chaperones) Final banquet attendance numbers must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 27. Please don’t forget to include dietary restrictions.

Coaches Meeting: 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31 at the Holiday Inn.

Hotels: Rooms have been set aside at the Holiday Inn in Burlington. Please reference OFSAA Field Hockey when booking. The hotel is 10-15 minutes from game sites, and will host the banquet.

Miscellaneous: Photos will be taken at the Hayden/Norton fields on Thursday, November 1. Teams will be given a specific photography time once seeding is completed that is coordinated with the start of their first game. The website will show the photography schedule.
